Harnessing Personalized Studies for Enhanced Market Research
CHALLENGE:
Blue Yonder Research, a leading market research agency, was faced with the challenge of creating a digital ecosystem to manage their extensive global market studies. With the rise of AI technology, Blue Yonder Research sought to develop a comprehensive platform that could not only store vast amounts of data but also provide simple answers to complex market questions, reflecting the dynamic nature of today’s market.
OBJECTIVES:
The primary objective was to create an ecosystem where customized survey data from all participants could be consolidated in a single repository. This repository would then facilitate data interpretation and market research to reveal insightful results. Furthermore, the platform needed to support survey integration across both smartphones and wearable devices to ensure broad accessibility and user engagement.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
To address these challenges and meet our objectives, we developed a comprehensive solution encompassing several key components:
- Back-end Development: We implemented a cloud-based solution using SpringBoot, featuring robust encryption and secure access controls to ensure data safety. The system was developed in Kotlin and utilized a MySQL database to facilitate relational data management, enhancing the efficiency of data queries for data scientists.
- Front-end Development: Our UX team designed a user-friendly interface for mobile users, ensuring a seamless flow that allows users to interact with the system effortlessly. This was critical in maintaining high user engagement and accurate data collection.
- Data Analysis Tools: We integrated Metabase into our platform, providing a multi-access environment where data scientists and developers can execute SQL queries directly. This setup empowers users to ask and answer complex research questions derived from product usage data.
